Imaginal

”I saw the Master in a vision and I said to him, “Lord I see you now in a vision.”
And he answered me, “You are blessed, Mary, since the sight of me does not disturb you. For where the heart is, there is the treasure.” (The Gospel of Mary)

What is the imaginal?
According to Cynthia Bourgeault, citing the work of Jacques Leloup, it is the realm in which the images, the visions, reveal themselves in their full authenticity.
The image, as a kind of primordial template, emanates from the imaginal, which according to Leloup is “that in-between zone where spirits become embodied and bodies become spiritualized.”
Mary Magdalene met Jesus, in her vision, in an actual place, in a reality “that is both valid and truthful” according to Bourgeault.
Is this where all images come from, where the things that did not seem to exist before materialize from, where a drawing emerges?
The imaginal must the place where we go when we create and when we meditate in a creative way. It is where Mary Magdalene met Jesus and where we can go to find connection and balance.
The Imaginal is where any creative soul wants to live.
