I painted The Four Daughters of Eve (2003) before and after undergoing a stem-cell transplant in the hospital. It helped so much! When I came out of the hospital after cancer treatment, I felt like a newborn. Except I couldn’t cry for being held or grow up slowly while viewing life with an empty mind.
