You are invited to celebrate with us a creative promesa in honor of Mary Magdalene, Our Lady of Lexington Avenue, Patron Saint of Creativity and muse of all who believe in the infinite power of Imagination. This event is created with Love, Peace and Joy by Tanya Torres, Artist, with Corazón Tierra, Dancer, María Mar, Poet and Shaman, and (virtual) Raquel Z. Rivera, Singer and Composer, Special Guests: LEGACY WOMEN, an all-women traditional musical group rooted in Afro-Dominican and Afro-Puerto Rican traditions, drummers, singers, and dancers of Afro-Caribbean music, including Palos, Congos, Salves, Bomba and other Afro-Indigenous roots music of the Caribbean.
