“I truly believe that that's why devotion works for people when they're devoted to their practice, their meditation or their a breath work practice, or they're devoted to their relationship or devoted to anything. It doesn't really matter, what matters is the vibration of devotion, what matters is that your mind and your heart are working together. It cultivates something very different than discipline. We can discipline the mind but when the heart is in it, and it becomes devotional, it's a totally different experience. […] People will start it as a discipline but then they start to like how it feels and so then they become devoted to doing it and then they become fussy if they don't get to do it. Right in there they're starting to cultivate the mix of the heart and the mind together in action, and if they could memorize […] what that feels like in the body, they can come from that vibration consciously and intentionally any time any moment all the moments and when you do, you start making different decisions…”
