Youthfulness Explained

If you’ve ever worked in an office with other creative people, you might smile at remembering this kind of conversartion: today we were talking about how, when we visit our countries of origin, we find that people our ages have aged more rapidly than us. We thought it might be the tropical sun, or maybe the food, and very possibly the lack of exercise… but then we thought deeper, because, we noticed, that the artists don’t seem to age at the same rate, the creatives seem so much younger, the happier people still look like teenagers… Of course, we asked and the Universe answered.

First, to stay humble, I must say that, when at work, I feel ancient. If I look in the mirror, I see wrinkles and an expression I don’t recognize. I practice putting on a smile and hope it improves my image. But when I am home, in my studio, I just don’t feel aged. Maybe I don’t look in the mirror enough!

As I said before, the Universe answered. Through the YouTube Oracle. I’m convinced my phone is listening, there is no other explanation to the phenomenon.

According to the AI video citing Dr. Andrew Huberman, a Stanford University School of Medicine professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology, and a tenured neuroscientist, some people look significantly younger than their age not just because of genetics— mindset, energy, emotional health, and spiritual alignment play a powerful role in how you age. Peace, purpose, emotional regulation, and even trauma processing can influence your physical appearance.

Even though I don’t quite trust AI videos, this one sounded like it contained some insights into our middle of work conversation. Although New York is probably the most stressful place in the world, as an artist, you need to practice a lot of spiritual techniques to deal with the trauma of living in real life every day. When our minds want to go to heaven, we get called to the realities of Earth. But we do something different that more practical human beings may not do: we go and do some art to heal it all.

This is why we loved this video below. Don’t miss it. It’s better than a $1000 face cream for the soul:

May the Magdalene always guide you toward the path of deep happiness, and the right YouTube video when necessary 😁.
