What do we do when the checklist is not even half-way checked?

Dear Saint Mary Magdalene,
In the end, I didn’t get to paint today. But tomorrow will be a new day.
What do we do with days when the checklist is not even half-way checked? We forgive ourselves. And start over.
In art, sometimes that’s the way it is. We need our bodies to create. We need our full minds. And there are days when we don’t catch both.
I have been trying to recover from the flu, part 2. I’m mostly healed, but I knew I couldn’t expose myself to oil paint today without suffering the consequences. I thought I would feel completely healed today, but I spent the day smelling everything. Allergic to everything. Tomorrow I hope to feel much better.
The day was not wasted. I worked on the book, Creative Soul. I added a few fun pages at the end. If I had more time, I would work only on the book and send it to print the first proof and complete that project. But I have so little time, I need to do as much as possible. That might be a clue why I’ve been getting sick so much this year.
So tomorrow I will start over, hopefully feeling much better and stronger.
I look forward to an ideal day tomorrow. Please stay close!
Your artist,
Tanya
