Waves of Gratitude

Today I received the second printing of the Magdalene Muses deck. They look beautiful! I look forward to sharing them during the Mary Magdalene Celebration!
I got distracted today from my plan to plan the Celebration some more, and instead I ended up fixing my website and writing about Creative Soul.
Tomorrow will be a new day. It’s what I used to tell my son when he was frustrated. I don’t feel frustrated, just surprised that the day went so fast. Plus I just followed my joy today. Sometimes that’s all we can do, in a good way.
I can see today’s rest in the drawing. Lately, I haven’t been doing any masterpieces because by the time I sit to draw, I’m really tired. But today I felt more rested and calm and was able to work on the drawing with more pleasure.
Drawings are not so much about the actual drawings as they are about the process of drawing. By focusing on the traces, my mind rests.
As a prayer without words, it sends the gratitude in waves of joy.
