The Best Medicine

Today, only one thought: rest.
Sadness, anxiety, uneasiness. All because I didn’t sleep enough last night, and had a non-stop 3 days at work with unfinished tasks to continue on Friday. The anxious part of me wants to work tomorrow, even though it’s a day off.
But I no longer listen to those feelings. They are not real. They are the repercutions of exhaustion. Once I sleep, they go away.
It’s important to remember: “This too shall pass…” It works for big problems, and for little ones, too.
Tomorrow will be a new, free day. And I will have forgotten everything bad about today, unless I read this post again!
