Stress

Yesterday I couldn’t write or draw for the first time this year. I have been sick and had a really difficult day. Stress really overtook me. I decided to let go of everything. And sleep.
When this happens, and it rarely happens, all I can do is go to sleep. And wake up to a new day.
I had another stressful day today, not as bad as yesterday, just a lot of work in a short time without food while taking antibiotics. I don’t recommend it! But one day vacation is enough.
From all the readings and practices that I have encountered after learning about Mary Magdalene, I have learned that sometimes the only thing we can do is let go, and just put it in God’s hands as they say. So simple, doesn’t require a lot of reading or a lot of learning. I could have learned it just by listening to my grandmother.
Stress is inevitable. But we can find balance by observing our body responding to stress, having tools to calm our mind, connecting to the spiritual world around us, and listening to the messages of our soul. It’s the work we must do to grow, evolve, survive and thrive.
