Middle of the Week

It’s the middle of the vacation week, and I haven’t accomplished much in terms of painting or editing my book or future plans. But in a way, I have accomplished more by detaching from these goals while creating harmony in myself and my space.
I really needed to rest, to clean, and to nourish myself, to sleep and just do less than I do every regular day. I hope to allow my body to heal both the flu -almost gone- and the stress that is causing my body to react this way.
Tomorrow I plan to go to Central Park, and to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in search of Mary Magdalene. I look forward to sharing here the images I find. The weather report promised a beautiful day, the only one this week with sun and without rain. I plan to touch the grass with my feet, and do some grounding to see if that helps collect the feelings in my body.
Tomorrow will be a day with Mary Magdalene, with art, and with the earth, and I look forward to connecting with our beautiful world.
