Magdalene Muses Card: Potential

Today I had no words, so I drew a card from the Magdalene Muses deck. I drew Potential.

Patti’s Magdalene inspired words tell us that we have infinite potential, but all things take time.

Time is something that has been on my mind. I want to do so many things, but I don’t have a lot of time. Still, in those ideas of things we want to do, is the potential itself.

If we have an idea, it must be because we are capable of making it happen. But it’s not going to happen just by thinking. We are going to need to put in some work. The trick is to make that work so magical that we don’t feel that we are working. Or enjoy and get full of energy as we work.

With the affirmation “I water the seeds of my potential.” We are guided to put in the effort, be patient and trust that by watering the seeds, we will see growth. It’s the natural flow of life.

There is infinite potential in all of us. We just need to choose which “seeds to water” and place our attention on that task. The potential for growth is in the action that we choose to take, and the consistency with which we continue acting toward our envisioned wish.
