Forward and Through

When you are coherent, life seems easy. When you are not, it becomes very hard. When you are coherent, you don’t need discipline.

This is not my thought, just something I heard that called me.

Has discipline ever been a strength? The truth is, we gladly do what we like, and sometimes torture ourselves through discipline, to do what we don’t like. Which is sometimes important and necessary.

I was having a hard time a month ago when I was sick. I was trying to push myself beyond what I perceive to be my limits. It didn’t work, and I suspect, it was due to incoherence. Fear creates incoherence, and beyond fear, not going forward and through, I suspect, have the same effect.

My own heart calmed down when I accepted this idea. Going forward and through is what will lead to that new life that I (or we) envision.

And to coherently move forward, I keep my practice of drawing and writing, of taking time to think creatively and compassionately.

I was so tired an hour ago, and now, I feel human again.
