A Moment Leading the Way

Last night I wrote a long post but, once again, I lost it. I had no more energy. The platform where I keep this blog keeps signing me out and I lose the writing.
Today I was talking to my friend Corazon and she reminded me of a practice I like to cultivate and that she wants to join me in: living (for a day, for an hour, for a few minutes) the way I want to live in my next stage of life.
I often say to myself: I want to live the perfect day today. That day is simple: Be in my studio, make art, write, cook something delicious and healthy, rest, meditate, walk, sleep well.
This prototype of a perfect day makes me feel as if I’m already living the life I’m designing and helps me practice until the transition is complete.
These days I’m working a lot since I have a full time job. My ideal day is elusive, but I search for it as often as I can. I cultivate it. I dream it and imagine it, and I work it.
These are the gifts of Mary Magdalene in my life. A drawing leads to a moment of true life.
