A Magdalene Heart

Because I like to imagine that Mary Magdalene is near and sort of smiling at this process, I let myself go into what my imagination produces without effort. It is this heart, similar to the one from one of the coloring images in the book I’m working on.
Pattern and texture are soothing to my soul, help me process exhaustion and relax my mind as I add details. It is similar to doodling on the edge of your notebook in school.
The Heart of the Magdalene is a representation of the love that she represents.
