A weekly prayerful painting class to learn about Mary Magdalene while painting her step by step.
Service Description
Join to learn painting techniques in a free, easy and joyful way. Learn to create your own Mary Magdalene painting, with easy steps that will allow you to develop with support and freedom. You will learn how to create and transfer a drawing, mixing colors, using color symbolically, Mary Magdalene's traditional attributes, art techniques and materials, and explore images of Mary Magdalene in art history. This class will culminate in a collective exhibition of Mary Magdalene pantings on July 2023 during the Mary Magdalene Celebration. Optional: Special In Person Workshop on 7/1/2023 Painting Mary Magdalene Art Workshop ($50) These online classes will take place on Saturdays at 9pm. $15 per class. 1 hour. A Zoom meeting link will be sent before classes start. I want you to know how happy and excited I am to teach these Painting Mary Magdalene classes! I am looking forward to a beautiful, relaxing and also productive time together! Here is a list of materials for the class. These are materials I will be using from a website I use to order my own materials, but you don't need to order from my link. Use it as a guide. Basically, you will need: -Sketchbook (or white paper) -Drawing pencils -Kneaded eraser -Sharpener -Canvas boards -Round Brushes in sizes 2/0 (a very tiny brush,) and 2 or 4, and flat brush for larger areas. -Acrylic paint set with Burnt Sienna color. -Painting palette (I like to use wax paper as a painting palette) -a cup of water for cleaning your brushes -paper towels or cotton cloth for drying your brushes and cleaning Here is the link to a list you can use to order materials, in case you prefer to order instead of going to a store: https://www.dickblick.com/myaccount/blicku/07p545lcd5dvs/ (Required vs Recommended- no need to buy recommended materials) Please let me know if you have any questions.
